Family-friendly and FREE!
Float from Olmsted County Road 1 bridge on the North Branch of the Root River by Fugle’s Mill (about 7 miles east and north of Stewartville) to County Road 116 Bridge.
Meet at 12:45 pm
at CR 1 Bridge to shuttle vehicles. Bring your own canoe or kayak
On the river at 1:30 pm.
In the event of unsuitable river conditions, the alternative plan is to have a bike ride on the Root River Trail round trip from the Preston Trailhead to Isinours Crossing. Meet at Preston Trailhead at 1:30 pm
